MISSION

Yucaipa Athletic Soccer Club (YASC) was founded in 2000 as a non-profit public benefit corporation to provide a strongly organized, professionally trained but reasonably priced, high-quality competitive club soccer program for the youth of Yucaipa and the Eastern Inland Empire, including the communities of Redlands, Highland, San Bernardino, Beaumont, Colton, Riverside, Grand Terrace, Rialto and Moreno Valley.

PHILOSOPHY

This area is growing at a rapid pace and the number of players of club level ability is increasing. YASC exists to provide opportunities for those players to reach their potential and take their game to the highest level possible. We have a strong desire to see the best players in the area stay close to home and play for YASC so they don’t have to migrate to other clubs outside the area to improve their game.

YASC is a development club. Success in club soccer is not confined solely to wins and losses (although that is certainly a part of competitive soccer) but also to the long term development of players. We believe in working hard and being successful but also in having fun. Our program is designed primarily to develop young talent beginning at an early age. To that end, YASC is committed to working with local recreational soccer programs to help improve their level of play while identifying and training talent that can be developed to benefit both programs. Our age specific training helps players improve their skills and tactics as they move up in the program. In addition, we are always interested in attracting top players of any age from throughout the area who are ready to enjoy the club experience in a competitive but developmental atmosphere.

YASC is an independent league of registration under the California Youth Soccer Association – South (CYSA-S). CYSA-S, in turn, is a member of United States Youth Soccer which is a part of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). All of these entities are part of FIFA, the world governing body for soccer.
